The Society of Women Engineers Collegiate Section at The University of Akron in, cooperative partnership with the Northeast Ohio Professional Section, is pleased to invite you to the 2009 Ohio Valley Region G Conference, February 27 – March 1, 2009, Quaker Square Inn at the University of Akron, Akron, OH.

The Region G conference will bring together engineering professionals and collegiates for an exciting weekend of networking activities, professional development seminars, and career building activities.  Highlights include the Friday evening Carnival to welcome attendees, the Tire Town Lunch with Industry, followed by a Career Fair on Saturday, the Formal Banquet Saturday night followed by a fun Fiesta Night and culminating with our Sunday Breakfast Panel, “Beyond the Glass Ceiling: Women Who Have Shattered the Limits!”

Special SWE Guests from the Board of Directors will include:
Betty Shanahan, SWE Executive Director & CEO and
Karolyn Tiefenbach, Special Director for Strategic Initiatives 2009
