SWE Scholarships

Dear SWE Collegiate Members,

The Society of Women Engineers Scholarship application is available! Please apply on-line at www.swe.org/scholarships by February 15, 2011.

You complete one application and you will be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.  The online application is entirely electronic – including submittal of reference recommendation letters and transcripts.

The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science. In 2010, SWE disbursed 170 new and renewed scholarships valued at $490,000.

To apply just go to www.swe.org/scholarships and click on the Scholarship Application.

  1. It is also important to show your skill which can attract sponsors so they can help you in finishing your course. Finally it is very important to keep a good citizen and liable student and never forget to study because you need a good result in other not to disappoint your sponsor and to get an easy scholarship for women.

  2. So many moms are left in that vulnerable position of not being old enough to retire, but not having any qualifications that can help them to get back into the workforce.

  3. Being a mom these days is harder than ever. In the old days, all that was “expected” of you was to be a glorified housekeeper – cooking, cleaning and raising the kids.
