Welcome Back! For many of you, school is in the first few weeks of classes, and I know if you are like me, it’s often the most overwhelming time of year (maybe besides finals/project week).  To get started, I want to introduce you to our Region Collegiate Team (RCT). If you want to learn more about our team, check out the Region Collegiate Team page on the right. The RCT consists of:

These wonderful ladies are here to represent and support you! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. If we can’t help you or answer your question, we will find someone who can!

Also, since the beginning of the year can be overwhelming, be sure to start (and stay!) as organized as possible. Here are some of the dates and forms I wanted to make you aware of, and be sure to SUBSCRIBE to the blog (subscribe on the upper right corner). This way, you will get an email when we do a new post, and you won’t miss any important information or deadlines.

If you have not filled out your annual report or financial report for the previous year, please do so! They are PAST DUE! You can find the proper forms under the Collegiate Resources Tab. Or right here:

-Collegiate_Finance_Report_Form, greater than $10,000

EZ_Collegiate_Finance_Report_Form, less than $10,000

-FY13 Collegiate Section Annual Report (Leadership Roster)

Turn them in to and let the RCR (Sarah @ know as well.

Also, remember that the first section report is due very soon! Be sure to complete the Report 1 tab, the FY 13 Roster, and update your Goals and Activity Log Tabs. Also, whenever you turn in your section report, please include who your Outreach Chair/Coordinator, etc. is. If you do not have one, please list who is normally considered to be responsible for outreach (eg. President). Please send to Sarah ( as well as Amanda (

Some other important dates to note right now are:

September 28: Deadline for SWEeter Futures (50 Free Agilent Kits Reward)

November 8-10: WE12  in Houston

November 15: E-postcard due

March 1-3: Region G Conference at Carnegie Mellon
