The Society of Women Engineers Collegiate Interest Group at Lorain County Community College (LCCC) was proud to host and support The Cleveland Engineering Society’s fall conference. Held all day on Thursday, October 30, 2014, the event was attended by over 200 professionals and students.
LCCC staff and students served as volunteers beside many SWE members. Volunteers received free admission to conference, lunch, T-shirt and a certificate of appreciation. The conference provided opportunity to inform about the emerging trends in manufacturing, expand professional horizon, network with industry leaders.
In addition to other events, there was also an information panel for the students. Arshiya Anand (President SWE CIG at LCCC), from The University of Toledo’s Computer Science Engineering program, spoke as panelist at the conference. Faculty Advisor, Ramona Anand at Lorain County Community College served as a member of planning committee.
