Collegiate Leadership Positions
Region G is still looking for collegiates that want to get more involved with SWE on the regional level.  Applications are open for the RCR, RCCE, and RCS positions! Visit this post for more information about these positions/the application process, and be sure to apply by February 1. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the current region collegiate team with any questions!

Region G Travel Grant Application for Conference
The deadline for the Travel Grant Application for the Region G Conference has been extended to January 15. Download the application RegionG_TravelPolicy_2014
Don’t forget to register for the conference by January 23

Rapid Fire Research Competition – call for abstracts
Submit a one page or less abstract to SWE Region G Conference <swergconference@gmail.com> for a chance to present a single-slide powerpoint presentation on your research.  Collegiate members are especially encouraged to submit their undergraduate or graduate research projects.  You will gain experience talking about your research, to a non-threatening audience of your peer SWE members. Selected participants will be required to summarize their research on a single slide and present their topic for less than five minutes.   Please submit by January 23

Region G 2016 Conference Bidding Info
Due date to submit an application for your section to host the 2016 Region G conference can be found here.  Don’t forget to apply by February 2

Learn about SWE’s two new awards and online application by joining us for training on the awards nomination process:
